The initial application of ITMO University was basically a copy of ITMO Infoportal and did not fit users needs.
So University IT Department initiated the re-design process.

I conducted the survey for 320 people and 8 interviews, reviewed all University internal systems and services
Based on research I defined 3 user groups for the app: university guests (parents, applicants, journalists etc.), students and teachers.

University Mobile app did not cover needs of all user groups. Some examples of such needs:
Together with the Dev Team we found the most convinient solution considering data aggregation, several authorization services, security and data updates.
The app should aggregate and align data from several resources: website, schedule, internal scoring system, accounting system.

I designed userflows and prototypes for students based on researched needs.
I payed attention to visual design and illustrations which reflects ITMO University brand.
ITMO styled illustrations
I worked closely with iOS and Adroid developers via Zeplin and daily meetings
I prepared interactive prototypes in inVison and conducted corridor testings with the students of the University
Together with the Team we developed Android and iOS versions of the app and published it in Markets.
We recieved positive feedback from students during 2 release months.
